Geekquestion: How do I add links to the side of LJ like you have, with headings of their very own?
I wondered the same thing..but then I don’t have a paid account..so I think that I probably don’t have that ability.
you go to your customize journal, for S2 layouts, and then click on YOUR LINKS. http://www.livejournal.com/customize/
from there, you just cut and past, with a title for them there.
I don’t know if you need a paid account to have access to all the various templates, and Tim’s the one who first set up my LJ (which is a paid account).
I input my links by going to my profile page and selecting customize, which gives various tabs (Links List is under Basics). When I click on Links List, there’s a box for each title followed by a box for the HTML code for that link.
I alter the look of and information in my columns using the Advanced tab, then “Your Layers,” then edit the particular column (which I usually screw up and take a bit to figure out or yell for Tim to save me).
But as for how it all got done in the first place, I’m clueless. Tim’s the computer geek of this operation.

Why would they go “beyond the realm of possibility”? Perhaps FARB has something in common with Daniel Stephenson when it comes to disguises.
Hum. I could have sworn he was a bit different looking than those photos, but I have never met him before, so I can only go by the badge from S&S.
