Hey do you remember when PLAYGIRL ran those photos of Brad Pitt on vacation … he was all naked on the patio etc …. this reminds me of that — because I know Rex is going to sue to have this entry pulled.

Well you know for collecting purposes only…:) it was pulled like hours after it was released so My Continental Comrades sent one person over to buy all the magazines. That is your travel dollar at work.
That actually makes me feel BETTER about my travel dollar. At least you weren’t out buying mousetraps.

Playboy published photos of a topless and totally naked Uma Thurman on some beach. The text that accompanied the photos was rather defensive about the moral issue of using such photos in Playboy. They knew doing so was wrong, but they went ahead anyway. Nicholas Cage, who did the Playboy Interview for that issue, wrote in saying that while he was honored to have done the interview, Playboy had done a really sleazy thing by publishing those photos. I agree.
Oh it was totally wrong to publish those pictures, I was totally wrong and feeding the beast when I got it and I knew it, but my desire to see Brad Pitt nekkid was so much stronger.
I wanna see that!
I mean, Rex is awfully handsome, naked and all, but there’s something about Brad that just appeals to me more. It could be the two leg thing.
I always heard that posting naked pictures was a shameless ploy to increase blog readership, Becky. And yet looking at all the covers of your books—no naked pictures. What’s wrong with this picture? Would the principle translate to print?

I keep TRYING to make the publishers put naked Rex photos on the covers, but they just don’t believe my idea is a winning one. Margot and Guinness are willing to pose nude for the covers, too, as long as food is involved.
