My kind editor, John S., sent this today from Booklist:
Cochrane, Becky. A Coventry Christmas. Oct. 2006. 352p. Zebra, paper, $6.99 (0-8217-8042-5).
With a scrooge of a boss, her family thousands of miles away, and the only male in her life a hamster, Keelie Cannon is anticipating her worst Christmas ever when her friend Ivy convinces her to spend the holidays with her in the small Texas town of Coventry. Once Keelie arrives, her feelings about Christmas start to change as she not only rediscovers the joys of the holiday season, but also of another chance at romance. Cochrane deftly flavors her quirky, character-rich contemporary romance with a surfeit of Christmas charm and sharp humor.—John Charles
Woo-hoo! Congratulations! 🙂

Mmm Hmm…
…nodding head in agreement.
Just finished Chapter 1. I’m reading a little every night before bed, after I’ve finished my reading for school. So if you were to look at my nightstand right now you would find Hemingway’s THE SUN ALSO RISES, Ibsen’s A DOLL HOUSE, and Cochrane’s A COVENTRY CHRISTMAS. Need I say which one I’m enjoying more?!
My sister is getting this for Christmas. 🙂
Thank you!
