    1. At your store, you mean? Is it your experience that your store gets titles in a little before their official release dates? Because I’ve found they’re often on store shelves even when Amazon still says they’re only available for pre-order.

      1. Unless it is a “big” title, we don’t usually get them until the Friday before the Tuesday street date. Of course, I’ve been watching our shipments since early December for this, cause for me it is a big title!!

      2. Alas, no. My system doesn’t let me order in titles before the date myself – though my home office can do so. I think you’re tagged as Dec 26th up here. But I pre-ordered with the hope it’ll ship early. 🙂

  1. Wait a second (just finished a cup of coffee, and am therefore firing my cylinders properly)… does this translate to: there are copies on the shelves?! Because YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!

    1. It doesn’t officially drop into bookstores until January 6. Sometimes they arrive early, but this is probably a little TOO early.

I haven’t even gotten my full shipment of author copies. Just the two.

  2. I am so proud of you that I’m about to bust…!

    The cover is lovely, Becky.
    I’d imagine that you’re pleased.

    How neat!!

I look forward to purchasing a copy for myself, SOON!

    😀

  3. WOW!! Now ya got me all anxious again!! Did I tell you that I recommended Coventry Christmas to my assistant manager who was looking for a “feel good” Christmas book. She loved it and can’t wait for this one now.

    1. I was thinking about how the first line of A COVENTRY CHRISTMAS was, “I hate Christmas.” Wouldn’t it have been funny if the first line of this one had been, “I hate weddings.”

I say this because, instead, I played off a famous first line the way you did in Mardis Gras Mambo.
