I found a new treat for Dash, dehydrated banana wrapped in dehydrated chicken … he is freaking out for it constantly — and thus agrees with the compound dogs

My parents’ dogs really like salmon sticks. They will even sniff around for the bag, like that “Beggin’ Strips” commercial.
Unfortunately, the latest delicacy is nasal-seasoned papers a` la waste paper basket. Somehow, a bandaid and cough drop wrappers were included in this venture, resulting in one dog throwing up. We assume it would be the bandaid, since a previous dog (Lacey, the cockerspaniel) would fight tooth and nail for the menthol in cough drops. So, we had to keep those well away. I guess we need to start keeping the trash out of dogs reach too, which is not easy for two sick seniors!
Yeah, we have some trash hounds here, too. That’s why all the wastebaskets/garbage cans they can get to have tops on them.
Scruff and Poppy did quite well – even their nanny and grandad remembered!
They are lucky dogs! And so freaking adorable.
