    1. Too much Law and Order…first thing that popped into my head was L&O character, and then I remembered “The Scream”, and THEN I laughed, HARD, because both are appropriate associations! Hahahaha

  1. I have to say, I’m having trouble with the play-at-home version of today’s poem 😉

Sorry to hear that gadgets are causing you pain. almost lost it on Sunday when the cable box blew up just as Glee was starting.

    1. Thank you. Gadgets are better today.

Poor guy–I was following along on Twitter. It’s a cruel universe that would deprive him of the TV just as the one show he watches begins. Especially after it sailed through the Superbowl without a hitch. (I should rewrite that sentence without mixing my metaphors so badly.)

Helen made a valiant effort to play along on Facebook with “Scare – ‘M.” I was pretty impressed!

  2. Becks, please before you admonish me, realize that you forced me … yes FORCED me to say this, you know that there are always certain things I can’t resist, so this is your fault ahem …

    KIP KIP HURRAY!

and actually I really like the poem, losts of fun and flavor in that one, it made me smile …

    KIP KIP HURRAY!

  3. Mmmmm, that sounds and looks delicious! I do love salmon (Kelly not so much). The only fish I don’t really care for is — are you sitting down with a fan, Becky, in case you are overcome? — catfish. There’s just something about the squishy texture.

I had basil, lemon balm and chocolate mint growing two years ago, in containers, that seeded themselves and grew again last summer. I’m hoping they will continue this year too.

It is difficult for me to imagine living through what’s going on in parts of Japan right now. (And did I hear Glenn Beck made some stupid joke about it?) So much of what we have is so easily taken for granted: running water, electricity, a place to sleep at night. It’ll be a long road to recovery, I think.
