I think they were exhausted because there was too much going on here yesterday. I was shocked to look down and see Margot with them. Although there’s no point in her trying to retreat to Fort Emo, since these dogs go under the bed, too. The security of her fortress has been compromised!

They were so tired I don’t think a brass band playing it could have kept them awake.

My neighbors across the street have a black & tan and a red dachsund also.
It’s funny how so many people have that contrasting combination of dachshunds. Just seems right, I guess.

Right now, Margot’s at the vet, Guinness is on the same dog bed, and the wee ones are missing in action. I suspect it’s because I left my nap blanket on the bed and they are under it. Dachshunds are such little burrowers.
Is it messed up that my fist thought was more of a sigh of happiness because they’re color coordinated?
Guinness should be happy–finally another dog who can get lost with her in a photo of brown/blond/red dogs.
