Alert the Grammar Police!

Just seconds away from shutting down my laptop and going to bed, I decided to read one more news article. My eyes were drawn to the top of the screen to an ad for Stacy’s Chips. Some of you may remember this post back in April, when I ranted about the incorrect use of an apostrophe in “its.” Internet, LOOK!

They fixed it! In gratitude, I will soon buy my first bag of Stacy’s Chips.

Who knows; maybe this will even cure my insomnia. Good night!

  1. See what power your blog has?!

Lately I’ve been in a pattern where I’ll sleep for three or four hours, and then I’ll wake up for a while before going back to sleep . . . which explains why I’m replying to you at four AM. 🙂

    1. I wish I could take credit for the correction. Well, I suppose I COULD take credit, but it would be undeserved.

I was doing that for a while–sleeping in three-hour intervals several times a day. But right now, I’m just sleepless at night. I should just give in to it and sleep all day when it’s hot, staying awake at night when it’s cooler. Unfortunately, that doesn’t really work for everyone else’s schedules.

        1. I’ve had that poppy icon forever. I usually use it on anniversaries involving veterans. Apparently, you’re so busy cataloging my posts in that filing cabinet of a brain of yours (“Hey, Mark? When did I write that post about needing to buy a bottle of Drano?”) that you ignore my user pics.

  2. Wow. Your internet influence and grammar fu are strong. With your help, people will be calling me The Rhonda in no time. And I will celebrate with a bag of Stacy’s Chips.

    1. They worship me there. I’m sure of it.

Or maybe some other irate grammarians actually contacted them. Now I wish I had. Maybe they’d have sent me a case of chips.
