Montrose: Bad and Good

Until Tim pointed it out to me, I wasn’t aware that one of my favorite little bungalows in Montrose is being destroyed. I was able to get a few photos before it’s gone:

In happier news, I have about two hundred photos that Tim took at the Pride parade available on Flickr for anyone who’s interested. Click here and enjoy.

The others aren’t like this, but I love the movement of this one!
Thank you so much, Tim, for manning the camera.

  1. I LOVE the red door against that green.

The parade pics are fabulous. My favorite “non-parade” one is the one of the fuzzy white dog with the Little Orphan Annie eyes. What is BFLAG?

  2. Brooklyn has their Pride Parade at night. (All the boroughs have their own parade in the weekends leading up to the big one in Manhattan.) I haven’t been in a few years but I remember it being a lot of fun.

    1. I used to go to the daytime parades here, and trust me, they’re better at night because of the heat. But our parades are getting shorter and somewhat less interesting. I think the entry fees may be a little steep.
