Until Tim pointed it out to me, I wasn’t aware that one of my favorite little bungalows in Montrose is being destroyed. I was able to get a few photos before it’s gone:
In happier news, I have about two hundred photos that Tim took at the Pride parade available on Flickr for anyone who’s interested. Click here and enjoy.
The others aren’t like this, but I love the movement of this one!
Thank you so much, Tim, for manning the camera.
What a gorgeous cottage! Why is it being destroyed?
If I had to guess, I’d say the property was sold to put up another three-plus unit eyesore.
I LOVE the red door against that green.
The parade pics are fabulous. My favorite “non-parade” one is the one of the fuzzy white dog with the Little Orphan Annie eyes. What is BFLAG?
I think it’s Blind Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays.
I love the red door, too.
Tim did a fine job of the
beefcakePride photos! He did do a great job–I felt like I got to see everything–without the ninety-plus-degree heat.
Brooklyn has their Pride Parade at night. (All the boroughs have their own parade in the weekends leading up to the big one in Manhattan.) I haven’t been in a few years but I remember it being a lot of fun.
I used to go to the daytime parades here, and trust me, they’re better at night because of the heat. But our parades are getting shorter and somewhat less interesting. I think the entry fees may be a little steep.
