Becky,
I’m not fond of Crowe as a person, but he’s a great actor. I LOVED him in A Beautiful Mind. Maybe my attraction to it is because my mom suffered from Paranoid Schizoprenia. It showed me how she saw the world. 😀

Re: Movies
That’s good that a movie could give you insight like that.
It is a shame about how Russell Crowe has become. Did you ever see his very first movie, way back in the day in Australia, when he played a young gay man? It’s a beautiful movie, about his love for his dad, his issues with his boyfriend, and the back story of his grandmother and her lesbian partner in their old age. Just thinking about it makes me want to dig it off the shelf and rewatch it.
And they killed Bambi’s mom! I cried for days. And I did see it the first time around. At the Fabulous Fox and the Mighty Wurlitzer couldn’t even cheer me up. And now you know why I’m anti-NRA.
