  1. Beaker. Gotta love the Beak-man!

Although I can also do a pretty mean Swedish Chef invitation. If I ever want to get my sister to squirt milk out of her nose, all I have to do is launch into the Swedish Chef doing his “popcorn at the 3D movie theater” bit from The Muppets Take Manhattan. “It’s poppin’ in your face…it’s…THREE-DEE!”

      1. *tries to catch breath* OMG. That’s hilarious!

I have a friend who’s both a classical music nut AND a Muppet fanatic. She’s gonna pee her pants over this one.

  2. Wasn’t he on SNL in the very beginning when I didn’t understand any of the humor.

I like Rowlf the piano playing dog. Although I love the mosters too …

  3. I know all about the Land of Gorch, but not because I’m old. I just happen to own the first season of Saturday Night Live, that’s all. (Yeah, that’s the ticket!)

And my favorite Muppet is Animal.

    “Animal! Animal! Animal!”

  4. Either I’m not old, or I just don’t watch the right TV.
My favorite muppet is Joey. (If I were Mark, I’d find and post that picture of him I’m thinking about in 1 minute flat.)
My biggest disappointment about my trip? I didn’t get to meet Joey in the flesh fur.

  5. I know we are only 35, so this is “hear-say” from someone that was there…

Jim Henson’s Muppets had a theater at Six Flags Over Georgia. H. R. Puffinstuff (what stuff do you think they were puffin’?) It was amazing!! – so I’m told.

Favorite… Snuffleupagus or Cookie Monster or Oscar or the old men or the inhabitants of Gorch or Rowlf or …

why would you ask such a difficult question????

    1. Wait now. H.R. Puffnstuff was Sid & Marty Krofft, not Jim Henson! Henson was out there, but the Kroffts? They were totally on acid: H.R. Puffnstuff and Lidsville should be evidence of that!
