Hump Day Happy

I’m reading a good mystery and just finished a BLT, only without the T. Mmmm, bacon. Then I gave the dogs some all-natural dog biscuits as a treat. With everybody happy here, it’s only fair that you get to be happy, too.

You are welcome to give me a page number from 1 to 612 and another number between 1 and 30, and I will find your reason for happiness right here:

    1. Oh, it’s just an old Mr. and Mrs. North mystery from Frances and Richard Lockridge. They are one of my comfort reads.

      Your answer is:

“mist over the rolling meadows drifting away”

      1. I got so excited I thought it said blank checks for me… and I do believe that would make me very happy … but blanket checked fabric is nice, Dash can serve up some pie at a picnic on one of those

and of course Dash IS a Valentine

      1. Thank you! Too bad this isn’t one of your signature photo-Wednesdays… There’s just GOT to be a picture of Judy at the top of a staircase in something slinky on the Internet.

  1. I have spent the last week going through your blog. I think of all the blogs I read, yours is the most positive. Thanks for that, because all the bitchiness is depressing.

    1. Thank YOU, Kate. If you have a blog or online presence, send me a link! In the meantime:

“bones for dogs” (Four out of four Compound dogs agree.)

    1. “raising hanging vegetables at home”

Sorry about your glasses! Is there anywhere on any tourist jaunts near an eyeglasses place? Hope it doesn’t spoil your holiday.
