Do you need happiness?

It’s Wednesday again. If you are in need of something to be happy about, please give me a page number from 1 to 612 and another number between 1 and 30, and I will consult the happy source:

Will there be photos with my answers? Dare to dream.

    1. “rock caves”

I can’t take you spelunking today, so will you be satisfied to go inside the smaller world of one of my geodes?

    1. Dash:

      “archeology buffs”

      You:

“old country inns to get lost in”

Here’s one for both of you–the gardens between some old country inns. While you explore inside, Dash can dig outside. At least until he gets caught.

    1. “copperware”

I could show you the difference between the bottoms of my pots and pans versus my mother’s, but it’s too disheartening that I didn’t inherit the good housekeeping gene. Here’s a set of salt and pepper shakers she found at the Guild (I know you remember the Guild) and gave to me.

Your computer–it’s because Mercury is in retrograde. (I think you need your own laptop that no one else is allowed to touch.)

    1. “frosty weather lunch or brunch”

You’ll have to take my word for it that while this was what was in front of my camera, behind me, my sister and mother were putting together a brunch of eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, grits, and homemade buttered biscuits.

    1. Of course you may.

      “wall storage systems”

Since you saw the SATC movie, you’ve seen the “BIG closet”:

Not quite as glamorous but with the same attention to my need to have more than the tiny closet allotted to me inside the house, in my garage, the “TOM closet”:

    1. Sorry for the delay, Endora Joan. I was out shooting. Either you or someone else has had this before:

      “old mechanical banks”

I don’t have an old mechanical bank on hand, but I do have a shot of the Heights State Bank, built in 1925 and allegedly once held up by Bonnie and Clyde. In the years I knew it, it was a great nightclub called Rockefeller’s where I saw such acts as the Neville Brothers. Under new ownership, it’s now called Rockefeller Hall and has been renovated on the inside to host private events. Here’s the way it looked for me today:

    1. I know this is your attempt to get a photo of Tim from behind, but…um…no.

      “kidding around with your child”

Makes me think of THIS photo, one of your own:

    1. It’s never too late.

      “true, lasting values”

I had a hard time figuring out a photo for this, though–values are such individual choices. In the end, I decided to try to show a visual of the best piece of advice I ever got from my parents. I didn’t always follow it, but IT was always right, whether or not I was.
