Better not knowing?

It’s like an episode of CSI: Compound around here. Someone (probably yesterday’s Mosquito–I KNEW that mosquito was making a gang sign) has called down a plague of flies on my house. I really don’t want to think there’s a dead animal in my attic. I can’t see any way it could get in (after the exterminator’s exclusion efforts).

But I’m starting to look like this when I walk through my house.

  1. My sister just had a fly problem in her attic in Virgina Beach. She called a pest dude. He told her they came in through whatever vents were in her house, and then gravitated to the hottest place to reproduce. He suggested sprays, and then those icky sticky fly traps that hang, for her attic.

  2. I’ve always wondered where they came from too. We live in a REALLY old farm house and I put plastic on the windows for the winter. It can stay 30 below for weeks, but let it be sunny for a few days and there are flys everywhere inside the windows. EWWW!

And what about that old myth that flys only live a few days? i don’t believe it! Those suckers seem to live, trapped/camping in my car for days and days, refusing to go out the window. Even with me waving and trying to shoo them out in the middle of a red light.
