Another confession

Confession, as Sister Mary Amanda Prophet reminds Adam in HE’S THE ONE, cleanses the soul.

But first things first. I’m glad that Shannon’s dog Rutlie is doing okay and hope the change in food will make a difference. Last week, I found out that my brother’s dog Bailey got some of the tainted food and ended up at the vet. Bailey is okay, no kidney damage that I know of, but he’s an old dog and is lucky that my brother was using only a tiny portion of the wet food to make Bailey’s dry food more appealing.

The only good that can come of this is that people should now be more aware of what’s in their pets’ food, and their outrage may provoke changes. I’ll always wonder if it wasn’t a food issue that made our dachshunds die within five days of each other in 2000 after a series of mysterious illnesses that left Pete with liver failure and Stevie with kidney failure. That’s when I got appalling information on pet food ingredients from a homeopathic vet. We began buying Wysong when Margot and Guinness came into our lives. It’s the only product I trust.

Now for the confession and happier things.

I’ve vowed that what I write is fiction, but I guess I’m wrong. In THE DEAL, Alexander has a secret alter ego, Al Camino. Just in case you haven’t read the novel (WHY NOT?!?!), I won’t say what Al does, but yesterday, I found out that he’s real. Tim has video proof. All bow down to the p*rn ‘stache!

  1. Woooooo Wooooooo

Oh yeah, that is one “funky white boy”

The Tim stalkers should be happy for a couple of days. Yes, “they” should. hehehehehe

  2. That Al sure made me laugh.
Just out of curiousity, what time of day was this epic made? Could it have been in the middle of the night?

    1. Could it have been in the middle of the night?

Mmmm, maybe. Maybe it could have been from about five in the afternoon until about five in the morning. Sometimes sleep has to be sacrificed in pursuit of a legend like Al Camino.

  3. Also, I am really happy you use wysong food, too. I can’t wait to get it, as I am making brown rice and egg this morning for Rutlie. He loved the turkey and rice. He ate the last bit this morning. I need to make enough stuff to last him until tWysong gets here. Oh and I bought the Maintenance (big box) along with a bag of the Anergen and some treats. I felt that the Anergen might be a good for his tummy, while eating all this new food.
