Recently, I spent some time organizing the toy chest in my office.
It is SO MUCH FUN to find things I’ve forgotten I own.
Who goes there? Please leave comments so (An Aries Knows)!

Aww, look. My van found some little friends. Or else someone’s trying to put together a gender reveal party.
I love this little book. I’ll probably have to find a copy of I Could Pee on This, too.
It was brutally cold at transport this morning. I’m not sure in six years, it’s ever been that cold. It wasn’t just the temperature but the overcast skies and the biting wind. MISERABLE.
David our driver gave me these and saved me. I not only held on to them through transport, but kept them in my hands all day and through tonight. Still warm.
P.S. Happy birthday to my amazing nephew Daniel who CHOOSES snow and life in a cold state.
Digging into the archives–took this in 2013. That means this crew is six years older now. When I look at them, all I want is for them to be alive and safe.
That is the legacy that began with Sandy Hook in 2012 and continues DESPITE what the majority of citizens want. We are heard, but nothing is done.
Nothing.
Could not resist this when I was out the other day.
Whole worlds watch over me while I write.
Visited a couple of Little Free Libraries recently to drop off books from Lynne and me.
That second one was so full and I added several more that I took a children’s book to add to my Olivia collection.
It was hard to part with this one because I read it years ago and really enjoyed it. BUT–there are more in the series, and I bought them as eBooks for my Kobo app, and this one was packaged with some of the others. So I still own it, just in a different format, and now I’m giving someone else the chance to discover author Kyra Davis, her writer-turned-amateur-sleuth Sophie Katz, and Sophie’s romantic interest Anatoly who always makes me laugh. I want to be reading these for a long time.
First ornament purchase of the season. Early, yes. But it’s a red truck. So…
At work, I call the members of my team the Unicorn Team, because along with hard work and dependability, we often work magic to get information for records. (And maybe we draw some of our power from that mythical creature Timothy J. Lambert.)
In truth, I’d like to sit and play with these tiny trucks for a while. But the Universe WILL NOT HAVE IT.
