Yes. Just as well, I think. No matter how great some of it felt, they weren’t always our finer moments. Got lost in a feeling. Hey! Wasn’t that a song too! Heheheheh!
You said it. I would love to erase my less flattering moments from the 1980s. Alas, I’m stuck with my bad actions and decisions, so I just pretend they helped make me a better person.
I was just thinking about how those bands have come and gone. Last week, I started listening to my Def Leppard collection again in the car on the way to work and the pool.
I love Def Leppard. The spring I was taking care of my friend Steve before he died in June, I wanted music in my car that had no connection to anything–was just music I could rock out to and not think on my way to and from everywhere. Def Leppard saved my sanity, I think!
How the mighty have fallen. A fate that waits us all?
Most of us fall into the same obscurity that was ours during the glory days, I guess. So no reality shows will call. I know our families are grateful.

You get a one-time free pass.
And thanks!
Ditto. I’d also like to have all that hair.

That was in 1992, so I must have been listening to Adrenalize. I think it was not long after guitarist Steve Clark died.
