How does a dog hide the evidence INSIDE a folded up sofa bed? That’s where Tom found the rest of the rotary cutter that I mentioned in my last post. Not only did she manage to hide it there, but how she got it in the first place from a room that’s usually inaccessible is another mystery. Maybe she’s learned to open doors?

The slyest. With older dogs too lazy to get in much trouble, I have to learn again to think like a puppy. Apparently, this youngster either wants to cut someone or sew. Maybe both.
OH! And I forgot to tell you that I caught Guinness IN THE ACT of trying to snag a piece of garlic bread from a baking sheet ready for the oven. It was almost another dog-gnawed roll event!

Our previous dogs that hated rain but loved digging up the dirt to bury the chewies and raw hides (we assume they taste better after marinating in dirt), they go mad finding hiding places in the house if it is raining outside. I don’t know if dogs can break bits of the blade off of the cutter. Molly loves rocks and
flossing her teeth withrandom bits of plastic from wrappers.Dash has one hiding place, underneath his dog bed. the only thing he hides there are doggie treats he’s not ready to munch on. Now, if he got his paws 18mm Rotary Cutter — he’d tear it up in front of me to be spiteful. He’s “in your face” that way.
Glad you found it and tricky Pixie is okay – as for Fort Emo, that’s for another day.
Animals have a lot more intelligence than we sometimes give them credit for!

You don’t think some terrorist group is recruiting pets now, do you? Mlle Renee will occasionally sneak into my room while I’m sleeping and abscond with one of the socks I took off before going to bed. She apparently sleeps with them in her bed.
So glad Trixie Pixie is ok. I know that must have given you quite a scare. I discovered (after finding pieces of it out in the back yard after they passed) that Alfie had been chewing on a fleece throw with frayed edges. He’s also helped himself to baked goods if they were left too close to the edge.
Oh, yeah–we’ve had a few baked goods incidents here, too. None with Pixie yet, surprisingly.
