From ‘Nathan. It becomes clear. It’s not just that I don’t watch movies about war and prison unless I have to. The year 2000 cured me of movie watching. I blame Russell Crowe.

NO PULP FICTION?!
oh becky…tell me you’ve seen other tarantino films then?
Nope. None. Though I did see his segment of Four Rooms, if that counts.
well, yes, that does count.
That was my reaction… Tarantino is a god.
No Hope and Glory? (I can totally relate to you – but for me it’s post 2003. I blame Sarbanes-Oxley and therefore Ken Lay.)
Okay – someone…could you please get Becky a copy of Hope and Glory? Oh how I adore that movie…
War!
what is it good for! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Sorry, I was compelled. There are quite a few years that I saw ALL of them, although to be fair there is NO year that I liked them all, there is always one movie that messes that up. I was surprised to see you didn’t see Capote… great great movie … and Infamous was even better I thought. I know that you don’t like violent things, but they really are more about Capote and his relationships then the murder.
I enjoyed Capote. Chris H and I saw it the weekend ofmy 40th b-day. I have yet to see Infamous. I need to put that in my netflix queue.
I have a bit of a problem with that particular piece of real/literary history. It’s best that I don’t revisit it.
Which sounds mysterious, but let me leave it at that.
not only is it left… we are driving away in a getaway car
This is another of your attempts to get me to drive off a cliff, isn’t it?
You should write for “Secret Splendor.”
… a Mercedes getaway car…
Huah! Say it again…
Um. Right.
I can’t handle violent movies at all anymore, so I was finding the same thing, – I’d consciously decided not to see quite a few of these.
No Fargo? Really? We need to have a Fargo night.
