It’s very hard for me to maintain the I’m-35 myth when I read something like that. I agree. EEK!
Totally different topic. Since I’m slowly re-watching QAF’s first season an episode at a time, I just saw one of my favorite moments. When Brian makes Justin go back home and talk to his parents, and then Justin’s father lays down the rules for Justin living at home–Brian ends up telling him that’s not love, it’s hate, gets up to leave, and asks Justin if he’s coming. I love that moment. (I wouldn’t if I were Justin’s MOM, but it’s so powerful.)
That moment is one of my favorites. Not only does
Brian show that there’s more to him than the surface
he shows to the world, but he also reveals Craig’s
false definition of “love” — which negates Justin’s
sexuality. I think it’s also a wake-up call to Justin’s
mom. She looks so startled, yet it makes her understand
that her husband will never accept Justin as he is,
which is the beginning of her acceptance of him — and
even of Brian as his lover.
Ha!
Well, mine could be Darth Vader, but I’m kind of hoping that he’s an Irish lord with a massive castle, which he’s going to leave me in his will!
You must be my long lost sister!
Cool button!
hahaha
I like that! (as well as other things “just ’cause they make me laugh.”)
This cracked me up!
Hard to believe it’s been 30 years — eek!

I had to give up THAT fiction a while ago! LOL!
