I’m trying to guess what’s being “reflected” in a stitched quilt-like piece. I feel the sadness though.
One thing that drew me to it is the pupil of the eye has a heart shape on it. My take: Love makes us vulnerable to pain, ours and others. Choosing to love despite that is a lifelong act of courage and hope.
