“We dream the same dreams…”
(though all that symmetry interrupted by those triangles keeps me contemplating more about what different dreams they are having)
Like Marika, you view this as two people. I had seen it as one person’s different sides because of its title, “Duality.” There are so many comparisons I can make about the two natures of an individual. I think the mood I picked up from this was one of co-existence.
I have a character who frequently reminds others that We can be/think/appreciate/love two things at once, even when they seem in conflict. I don’t see conflict here, but peace with one’s dual natures.
I have a hard time with this one. On one hand they look very passionate and I love .. on the other hand they are both wearing masks. Do they really know each other?
Because I was looking for something specific–the different sides of who we are as individuals–I found this painting with the title “Duality.” Thus I never saw this as two people, but as two sides of one person, and studied it to decide whether those sides show tension–are in conflict–or are balanced one with/by the other.
