Fixed this button ’cause I can’t fix the Internet.

It keeps braking and braking and braking… 😉
(I’ve had similar problems with the Internet, or lack therof, at my parents’ house, and we ended up changing carriers a few times. I’m sorry you have to go through all of this as well. My apartment also has an intermittent socket, but fortunately that was close enough to the wall that a good set of clippers and crimpers fixed.)
For some reason, everything seems to be getting a signal pretty well now except the laptop I work on. I have to disconnect and reconnect several times to the Internet to get anything done online. All the signals seem to be strong to every other device, but not this one. So frustrating.
That option can’t work for us. The room with the laptop is far from the room with the modem. Then there are the phones and the tablets, and the phones and tablets of visitors, plus our Internet signal extends to Tim and Debby in their places on the property.

I generally don’t use wifi; I’ve got plenty of wire.
