The word I searched was “turmoil,” which is the title of the painting, and I was surprised because it seemed calm to me. Like you, I also saw it as something more external than internal. Part of why art is fascinating to me, especially abstract art.
Mardi Gras so celebration
It looks like sunshine breaking through after a storm. Reading that the title is ‘Turmoil’, I think that clarity is starting to clear the confusion. I like it.
That’s a hopeful perspective–and hope is one of my favorite things. =)
