Tiny Tuesday!

Annually, the second Tuesday of July is Cow Appreciation Day. In honor of the occasion, I took out the herd for a photograph. Three of them had broken legs, so I took out my gun. MY GLUE GUN!

I mended their legs. Some have been mended before, but if you own things, you know that mendings are often a process. Mend; break; repeat. As it happens, the glue in the gun is a silver glitter glue, and since I don’t waste supplies, the cows can appear to be wearing silver bracelets at the broken places. Classy cows!

Here, they graze for dust under the benevolent eyes of their Cow Queen. Long may she reign.

Also in honor of the day, Jack hurled up what appeared to be the contents of all four of a cow’s stomachs. I’ll need more time to recover from that than he will.

Yes, I DO know that all the Blue Dog cows were to have been destroyed because George Rodrigue didn’t give his permission. I was lucky enough to get one as a gift from Amy before that happened. NOPE, the cow is not for sale. No need for anyone to email me tragic stories of a relative whose dying wish is to own this cow, as happened last time. I’m 135 years old. I’ve heard a few cow cons in my time.
