Write what you know, they say. This isn’t a rule I follow, because I write about tons of stuff I don’t know. I research. Ask questions. A lot of times I write stuff and my plan is to take what I’ve written to people who DO know and say, “Is this legit?”
I’ve done so much research on horses I’m surprised I don’t whinny in my sleep. I had a plan to treat a friend to dinner and pick her brain because she currently rides. COVID has delayed that dinner a long time, but it’ll happen.
I recently got a new coloring book of Dream Horses.
Here’s my first horse from it. It’s very strange to color a horse who isn’t a unicorn. =)
Having a horse with paint all over it reminded me of a favorite version of the song “Old Paint” as sung by Linda Ronstadt. Even though I know nothing about horses, I do know the American Paint Horse bears no resemblance to my coloring effort.
Somewhere in the world (I know exactly where, actually), someone I used to know is having a birthday today. Happy birthday to him.
Were you on acid when you coloured that one in?
I was thinking the other day that I should find the one Chris gave me. I think I would find it therapeutic.
Ha. Nope. Stone cold sober.
Coloring is good therapy.
