It is ALWAYS about the dogs and cats–but sometimes my group shots at the end of a transport remind me how powerfully I love these people and all the good work they do for those dogs and cats. This is actually a rather small gathering for one of our group shots. SO many people bust their butts to get those vans on the road on Thursdays. I get to work with heroes every day, and I love seeing them on Thursdays.
