If you are being conditioned to doubt this, to mock, belittle, and undervalue journalists, it may be time to step back and question the honesty and motivation of the ones creating your doubt.
There’s a reason our founders believed in a free press. We ignore it at our peril.
I considered myself blessed that I worked at the Times so I could learn a little more about the inner workings. Every journalist I met there was there to do good. I was glad I was there on 9/11 .. even in my small way I was helping bring people truth.
