This adorable girl is Bella who was co-fostered by two of my favorite people. Here she’s being held by Liz. I credit Liz with being one of the people who kept me going right after the Harvey floods. She and her husband were traveling in Europe with her parents then, and following their progress through her photos on Instagram provided my daily dose of normalcy.
Every day I couldn’t wait to be reminded of places where life was going on as usual, people were enjoying it with the ones they loved, adventures were happening, and one day that would be my life again. Okay, maybe not global travel, but just being okay and happy.
The rescue org has brought a lot of great people into my life. Thank you to Liz and Anna (Bella’s other foster) for being two of them!
