I like to stay on the ground, preferably in my own car, and everyone says that’s the least safe way to travel. I think it’s a control thing.
Dan’s like that. I love the train, myself, but any travel that involves Dan letting other people control whatever machine we’re riding in sets his teeth on edge.

Somewhat related to TARDIS, if not Virgin, wouldn’t it be nice if we could be beamed places Star Trek style?
Yet, the Star Trek Energizer could go so horribly wrong! On the plus side, traffic jams could be a thing of the past once and for all.
In a private room, on a train going anywhere. It is magic.

Mostly I have traveled by plane which I love … but that doesnr compare to a road trip with a friend.
I wish I loved to fly.
with time not an issue (whenever THAT may be…) i love road trips. The kind where you can stop and see whatever tickles your fancy along the way… they are rare.
Other than that planes – because you save so much time if you are traveling long distances
Road trips are my favorite. I totally get why people who retire buy RVs and hit the road.
OMG, I just realized that I haven’t traveled anywhere in over 15 years! And local travel is in the hands of Metro Bus and Train.
