Close! That video sucked me right into more Ann Blyth videos. I’ve still never seen Mildred Pierce OR Kismet, for that matter.
That’s what happened to me when I went to U-Tube to get the link today. But I discovered clips of Alfred Drake and Doretta Morrow who originated all the 50’s movie musicals on Broadway. Unbelievable singing voices!
Also last spring I saw PRINCE IGOR on the Met Live In HD series. This was the opera for which Borodin wrote all the music that was later borrowed by Forrest and Wright who wrote the score for Kismet.
I really need to see Kismet.
