Margot doesn’t even want to be part of the shenanigans and is out of there. Pixie and Rex are keeping guard in both directions. Guiness and Penny are discussing the best strategy for climbing up the bookcase to get the treats on the third shelf WITHOUT getting caught (hence Pixie and Rex) and without knocking down extra stuff which might get them in trouble.
At least, that is what it looks like to me and Buddy.
Into the minds of the dogs we go…
Pixie: “If I stare at the food on the table, perhaps I can cause one of the monkeys to give me some. I’ll prepare “the eyes” now, just in case.”
Guiness: “They’re not obeying. Again. Instructive bark in 3, 2, …”
Penny: “I like it here. I wonder if they realize I’m giving off ‘crazy dog vibes’ to other potbtial owners.”
Rex: “…”
Margot: “Screw you guys, I’m gonna write poetry. My journal understands me.”

They’re all being “good” with hopes of getting another dog treat. Except for Margot, who is pretending not to care.
Margot looks like she isn’t interested in whatever is on offer.
