The Lambda Literary Awards finalists can be seen right here. Congratulations to all the nominees and finalists, as well as to all the publishers and small presses who ignore the dire and inaccurate pronouncements that NOBODY READS ANYMORE.
There is a world beyond 140 characters.
Adding my congratulations . . . especially to Greg!
Love your user pic!
Mmm, it seemed appropriate!
(I actually learned to type on one of those . . . back when dinosaurs roamed the earth!).
Me, too!
I had a Royal typewriter. Same kind of keys. Got it from my grandparents. My first marriage, hubby got me a Smith-Corona that I still have. I haven’t used it since some time in the late 90’s after I got my first PC. It’s sitting in 2nd ex-husband’s garage.
Readers still read, even if some of their books are electronic now.
I still have an old manual typewriter that belonged to my husband’s father. That’s the kind I learned on, too. Fortunately, one of the gifts from my parents as they sent me away to college was an electric typewriter. I can still SMELL and HEAR that typewriter, though we parted ways many years ago.
