On the most recent episode of Lifetime’s Project Runway, Tim Gunn traveled to the final four designers’ home cities to check the progress of their final collections. Meanwhile, in Houston, sometime around Halloween…
Paintings shown behind the models are mine. Photos of museums and galleries, with my paintings featured in them, were lifted shamelessly from the Internet and photoshopped are magic.
The ‘giant purple insect’ amuses me.
You’ll probably find one on the trail sooner or later.
I’ll keep my eye out–and my camera ready!
Will there be a reunion show where eyes are scratched, hair is pulled and there is yet another allegation of cheating? ( thats 2 this season! ) By the way I love the vintage fashion and the boa … fun idea.
Have you seen Night At The Museum.. I loved it, I know that doesn’t hold much with you though, not since BTILC
Thanks! Not sure what you mean by the vintage fashion, though, unless it’s the ghosts?
No, Night at the Museum is a planned rental I haven’t seen yet.
Very cool, Becky. Can’t wait til next week.
Thanks, Gary! All my designs are done, I just have to photograph them, and get them uploaded and tagged on Flickr, which is frequently just as time-consuming as sewing! But they’ll be ready by Sunday. =)
Gasping at that thirteenth look!
Everything’s so overwhelmingly beautiful all grouped together, Becky.
Thank you very much, Mark. I hope you’ll enjoy the other twelve looks! (On PR, they only had to do ten plus the surprise additional look, but I had twelve models I wanted to use, so I did more.)
The amount of work and creativity that goes in to these never ceases to amaze. Well done!
Thank you very much, Dan! =)
museum visits
Until now, I had yet been to a museum and felt like I was at a fashion show 🙂
Re: museum visits
But did you ever feel like you were in a museum with ghosts?
Re: museum visits
Only if I view the museum as ancient history 🙂
Echo! Echo! That killed me.
The thirteenth look is breathtaking! I love how much you love putting on these shows, Becky. Your love of fashion is contagious.
Thanks. David! Every time I think I should stop, I remember that I really love doing it. I don’t know much about fashion, but I do love my dolls (like Neely O’Hara, but different).
