After a twelve-hour car trip from the Ozarks back home to Houston, I don’t have much creative energy left. However, in honor of other people’s creativity, I’m showing you what I thoroughly enjoyed reading on my summer vacation. And if it counts, what I can’t show you are all the notes I’ve made for what I hope will be my next novel.
Yay! Your new novel is coming! I want to read it! :o)
Not that I want to dampen your enthusiasm, but I’ve been making notes for this thing for over a year and still have about ten paragraphs written. So it may be a while–plus there’s always the challenge of finding a publisher!
Details! Details! It’s a start… :o)
You are right. Thank you.
OMG, you’re home! You’re home! Craft night? Dinner? Too much, too soon? I just miss our family dinner nights…
I’m up for both. And apparently, you have quite a bit of art to create!
I missed y’all, too. =)
for what I hope will be my next novel.
That just gave me a shiver of excitement. 🙂
Thanks!
Love Ann Patchett. Run is on my “To Read” list.
I thought of you the whole time I was reading it. This is the fourth of her books I’ve read, and here’s what I’ve decided. She’s an absolute master at making me want something with all of my being, and then not giving it to me. Writers who break my heart SUCK. Except that she’s so good, I have no choice but to accept the story on her terms.
It’s a wonderful book, and I think you’ll love it.
