I sometimes forget that Dash isn’t my little baby boy anymore … that he’s my little old man. This made me want to scoop him up and hold him a little bit more

I was thinking just yesterday that Phoebe will soon be heading into the ‘old dog’ range.
I always think of her as the baby and Sophie as the Grande Dame.
Made me almost tear up thinking about one of Kelly’s “old dogs,” Bandit, a basset-lab mix who took a while to get used to me being around. He was a good boy and sorely missed.
Aw. I’ll think of Bandit when I give my doggies their good-night pats tonight.
