Hump Day Happy

I skipped Hump Day Happy last week; sorry. I’m hoping doing it this week will make my headache go away because I have too much to do to put myself to sleep with drugs. I suppose it could be paint fumes causing the headache.

Regardless, making you happy makes me happy. If you comment with a page number between 1 and 611, and another number between 1 and 25, I’ll give you something from the happiness book.

    1. Let’s see. You get “cucumber sandwiches sliced like a dream, brown boiled eggs, strawberry ice, lemonade,” which you or someone else has had before. It’s a good one, but eventually, you do run out of double 13s. Just sayin’.

Dash gets “the butterfly effect.” Which I think means if he kills too many rats, Canada will become tropical.

    1. Yay! The angel has landed! Thank you; maybe some coffee will knock the headache out. Meanwhile, the book has for you “rocking to sleep in ancient waters.” Sounds lovely. Planning a trip?

  1. go ahead, make my day

The last time I responded to this, I used the price tag of my Dad’s birthday present (which the rest of the family helped me pay for), with the dollars for the pages and the cents for the entry. The happy result resulted in an alternate but just as happy italian via Olive Garden.

This time, after 10 hours of installing said present (a networked laser printer/scanner/fax machine as he is going into real estate at the ripe age of 62),

    I pick 62 and 10.

I like it that your numbers have stories to go with them. This time, the book gives you “painting bedrooms yellow.” Who knows where this may lead?

It leads to Sam’s bedroom :). Just before he started chemo/radiation, he painted his bedroom in Randy’s house yellow. It faced South East, so the morning sun always felt warmer in that room. (Randy took care of him all the way to the end.)

    1. Or I hope, page 97 number 8, which is “coconut palm, mango, banana trees.” Sounds like a tropical vacation is in the works–even a mental one should be nice for you. Or are you auditioning for Survivor?
