Hump Day Happy: Frog Version

I could use something to be happy about–even if it’s something YOU get to be happy about. So please comment with a page number between 1 and 611, and another number between 1 and 25, and let the Great Circle of Frogs croak out an answer for you from this book. After all, legend has it that the frog brings happiness, good luck, joy, change, and prosperity.

              1. Officially Yankees because they did not join the Confederacy. You know I am a stickler for the rules. Thankfully he doesn’t have one of them there funny accents.

          1. I don’t think he has any experience with them. We’ll be walking and Phoebe will see one across the street and be excited, but he doesn’t pay any attention.

  1. I just finished reading “When You Don’t See Me.” I think it’s the best Timothy James Beck book. Are you guys planning to write another book about Nick or his twin?

There’s a song or a poem at the beginning of the book. Can you tell me who wrote it?

Also, for this Wednesday, I’d like page 466 and number 15 please.

    1. Hi, Melanie, and thanks for the kind words about WYDSM. I’m not sure what future TJB novels will be about, but you never know. You may see Nick again.

The title of that poem is “One Year,” and I wrote it on September 11, 2002. I believe you may be the first person who’s ever asked!

      From the happy book:

      “startling clarity at 4 A.M.”

      1. It all depends on what time of day they’re practicing. We weren’t too far from the high school in our old house and would hear them practicing in the mornings in the fall.

        1. It’s on my left sidebar here, but I’ll happily give it and include your donations in future photos:
