I’m afraid I haven’t put my extra day to the use I wanted to. For the past few months, I’ve let myself down again and again because my brain is scrambled and my priorities confused. In spite of it all, there is always a reason to feel good, like finding this old photo in honor of the date:
Two dogs a’leaping…
You are too hard on yourself. Give yourself a break. One can only do so much.
Noooooo–I’m supposed to be SuperBecky!
I prefer Beckalicious.
It’s Beckily Boo. I think you are too hard on your self too… after all it was ME that took up tour whole Tuesday … BLAME ME
I wish I had that steak right now. I mean, not the way it is now, but the way it looked on your plate. We ran into some tourists the next day who asked about the restaurant, and I told them to go and get the steak because you said it was the best ever.
I told my Mom about it … and she was not impressed … she said “Well Marika, I don’t think you’ve ever had a steak you didn’t love.” But I told her that this one was so delish … although the poor girl next to us!
The Jew in me says “Beckeleh.”
The Carol Burnett in me says “Rebecky”
I like “the Beckinator,” myself.
I have been called that many times. So strange, since I’m very mild-mannered. 😉
:D!
that picture made me smile.
I’m glad I could return the favor.
I love that picture!
Wish I was there right now (and especially wish I could be barefoot!)
You need to pick a room where nobody is, get it warm, light candles, put on shorts, and romp barefoot with the dogs in honor of some Compound foolishness. Play Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” in honor of Margot, Guinness, EZ, Sophie, and Phoebe, and ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man” for Rexford, Dash, and Joey. Of course, sharing corn muffins (no sugar) with the girls might enhance the experience.
OH! I forgot Rutlie and Sugar. That room is going to be FULL of phantom dogs. I hope the girls don’t get jealous.
It’s such a ‘happy’ picture – enjoyment just shines out of it!
Thanks for sharing; sorry about your unproductive day, but happy leap day/year anyway!!
