Y’all do remember the Reading is Hot! campaign, right? And that it’s always a good time to send a photo?
Our friend Jandy* is proof that reading is not only hot, but funny and pretty freaking adorable.
*Jandy, whose name I stole for the main character of my next Coventry book because she said I could. Dawni’s latest post reminded me that I just passed my third anniversary on LJ (Happy anniversary to me!) on December 13. Jandy was one of my first LJ friends!
Ha ha ha!
YOU were the first person other than Tim to comment on my LJ.
Really? Aw. I feel like I should sign your yearbook or something. 🙂
Should you change the campaign to the “Reading is Claustrophobic?”
I love those pants, too!!!
Ha! Great picture, and pretty sweet, too. : )
ha! good times.
and happy anniversary!
Thank you. =)
Cool! I want to try that!
Does anyone have an extra refrigerator box lying around?
Go talk to those homeless dudes circling the pennies.
Yaay Jandy… I am waiting to see who Jandy will be in Coventry 2.
And (late) Happy Anniversary Becky, wow You have been on LJ for 3 of your 35 years and you look younger every year. 🙂
I need to see when my LJ-versary is.
Brilliant picture . . . just like young children who prefer the box to the gift that came in it!!
Hmmm … I’ve read TJB sitting on a sofa, rocker and throne –stretched out on the floor, a hammock and bed (my own and others) — riding on a bus, train and plane — and even at the top of the Gateway arch. But I’ve never read it in a box! Three HIPs and a HOORAY to Jandy who I only know for her cute cartoon icon. I’ll be waiting to see her immortalized in Coventry! Hopefully with only two hips.
BTW, Saint Louis made the Top Ten List of Literate Cities in the USA. Number 6! The list is based on the number of bookstores and libraries per population figures. And TJB and Becky have to be one of the reasons for that
