Because the painters are here, I’ve lost my kitchen again. Everything’s taped over with paper and plastic, and we’re back to using the bathroom sink to clean dog bowls and such. We’re all shut off in one half of the house. I was writing on my laptop when I decided to check on the whereabouts of my quiet family.
I LOVE Jane Lane.
Oh, me, too. She’s one of my inner voices, along with Beavis and Marge Simpson.
My daughter is entranced with your dogs. 😉 Ours are not allowed on the beds, you see.
It’s a dreadful failing, the way I let those dogs run the household.
If the dogs are happy, chances are the people are too. 😉
That’s an awesome photo. Everyone is so content, and Tom is comfortable while ever-so-diligently keeping his shoes off the bed. It looks so homey.
I would SO have my shoes on the bed.
Shame on you.
Your user pic on your last (locked!) post is slaying me. I hope your day gets better.
It’s only locked so as not to offend my mom’s delicate sensibilities.
I agree with Becky; it was hilariously great!
Shoes? Shoes in a house? Why? I’m a sock footed when I’m home.
I’m glad your dogs are coping with this well. I thought my cat was going to have a nervous breakdown during remodeling. She did not like her territory being messed with.
They are somewhat hysterical whenever any of the workers arrive, but wind down quickly because as dogs, they are just too lazy to be bothered beyond the initial warning.
Something about that bed brings this to my mind. : )
As well it should. And did you ever see this one?
hahhhaahha! That’s great. I think I remember that– must’ve seen it on one of my Becky-stalkings. Which reminds me that I still haven’t figured out where I read about Timothy’s San Francisco sunburn, but I did drag this out, the other day. : )
…wait, Timothy mentions in comments that he got a sunburn. Mystery solved!
That’s so wonderful! And cozy. Why aren’t you all in sweaters and housecoats? Wait, right… Texas.
What an awesome picture. I am thrilled Tom reads. Now only if I can get Bob to do more of that…
Dogs and bed = happiness and comfort
Well, sometimes comfort if your dogs are bed hogs.
What a fantastic picture – two sprawled and one very neat!!
