Last night, seven hours of sleep! Now I’m hoping to get a couple of hours of writing in before I have other things that must be taken care of.
One of my views from yesterday, palm trees included especially for Mark G. Harris.
And something to think about:
Albert Camus
Have a terrific Tuesday!
What a beautiful sky line. It’s so blue! The clouds look fake because they are too perfect.
*Did you ever read The Wall by Camus? I teach him in my philosophy class, and I learned a lot from him. The idea of living like you are about to die, spending every minute like it’s your last, really made me open my eyes to my own personal life. I think I appreciate things more now, as I get older, than I did before, but reading books like his, really help, too.
You should see the downtown skyline. Now that’s impressive, especially when the sky is blue and the buildings are reflecting the burnt orange glow of the sunset.
I can’t imagine. Nashville is so small, and it’s so smoggy right now, the skyline isn’t visible.
Coming in from the north, it can be really pretty sometimes.
How sad is it that I can see snippets of those buildings and the bus stop and know, almost exactly, where that view is?
It makes me happy to know that you can stalk me!
Just as well as Miranda…and with the same car!
I love the look of a city… the buildings look like competing chessmen! Give me those damned palm trees. I’m the only one who knows how to use them; they’re of no use to you. Give them back to me… give them back.
(Hey, what’s up with all the cryptic-ness? Will all be revealed, in time?)
Great photo, Becky. Glad you got a good night’s sleep.
