We just watched the sweetest movie on HBO, Imagine Me and You. It was romantic and cozy and Tim said he wished he’d written it. Me, too.
I love British romantic comedies.
Who goes there? Please leave comments so (An Aries Knows)!

that wasn’t as bad as i was expecting.
most films that they like to tout as ‘lesbian’ end up being pretty sucky, in my opinion. this one was cute tho.
I didn’t see it. (I was watching the ‘Top 100 Songs of the 80’s’ on VH1, which I must say I enjoyed, even though I only watched half of it.) If it was on HBO, though, I’m sure to have at least 27 more chances.
I like those VH-1 shows. Hal Sparks gives me a kick. Right in the head.
Have you seen the series “Coupling”? I absolutely adored it.
Nuh-uh, I haven’t seen it. Details?
It’s a quirky British series that ran about three or four seasons. The filming is different in that often you’ll start at the end and then find out how the people got into that situation, or the plot will run backwards, but it’s done so well that it’s not clunky or confusing.
The humour is very real from both a male and female standpoint–for example, the guy wondering how the hell it is that women think they need so many cushions and why they stop wearing stockings once you get into a steady relationship. That is to say, you get into the psyche of both women in relationships and men in relationships.
If you don’t like it at first, watch more episodes, as it really grows on you.
The basic premise is a series of friends looking for love…they find it and lose it, hook up inappropriately, hook up appropriately, and their relationships all develop and strengthen. It’s really refreshing and I loved it.
Netflix has it.
I love that movie!
