I only got two three of ‘Nathan’s songs. Either I’m very sleepy or I just don’t know lyrics or music at all anymore.
Here’s the deal.
I put my iTunes on shuffle and post the first line of lyrics from the first 25 songs to pop up.
You guess each song.
I think mine are pretty easy. And I have a weird mix of music on my computer. Don’t you judge me.
Edited to provide the titles that no one guessed–Thanks for playing!

I recognized: 5. All the fear has left me now. But I couldn’t place it! And it was driving me nuts so I cheated and looked it up via a Google search. I have a tendency to have time when I listen to certain artists obsessively, and then to leave them alone for a while. Now that I know who this is, I’m going to go back and listen to this artist.
I only recognized the obvious ones, like Patsy Cline. Damn.
The title of this post ought to be a lyric. It’s got the bite.
#11 In this Life (Bette Midler did the re-make, I think it was the Beatles)
#25 Running on Empty –jackson browne
#16 Seven Year Ache –Roseanne Cash – or remade by Trisha Yearwood.
Crap, I just realized that I put the Album and not the song for #25….Cocaine (from Jackson Browne’s Running on Empty album) My brother used to play that album for hours while I was falling off to sleep.
quizes and such
are you writing or “researcing”?
Re: quizes and such
That stuff’s how I wind down before going to sleep anywhere between eight a.m. and noon… Someone needs to buy Tim a tranquilizer dart gun.
#2 “Here’s That Rainy Day” — I’m dating myself when I say
that I remember the Vickie Carr version — eek!
#24 “Windy” — The Association — dating myself again.
Becky this totally sucks you crossed off the ones I knew and nothing but the hard ones are left. UNFAIR!
Please, I only got ONE of Tim’s… And of all the other people’s I’ve done, I’ve only gotten a few. It’s hard to remember songs from first lines!
