Today’s coffee cup is a hello to those folks from my hometown who read here. So far I’ve been good about not publishing that football photo that a couple of you posed for. Heh.
I wasn’t able to make this reunion, but I did order a cup!
Hey, y’all.
Who goes there? Please leave comments so (An Aries Knows)!

Hey, y’all.
I love that picture of you! Too fun!
Thanks. If I still looked like that, I’d probably go to reunions. 😉
Or, the reunions would come to you.
Bob said he would come to a reunion now if you wore that.
Honey, I couldn’t get my leg in that now, LOL.
For me to still look like that, they’d have to come to me. I’d be lying preserved in a glass box like Evita.
Careful getting in or out of the car in that skirt…. Just ask Britney. (Oh… and BTW you DO still look like that except without the hat)
Ooops!
Sorry… that anonymous post was me. I am still a rookie on this site! [sheepishly ducks under desk]
Re: Ooops!
I do that all the time–even responding to comments on my own LJ anonymously.
Do you like “My Old Man” by Joni Mitchell? It’s my favorite song of hers.
…I like what Timothy said.
I don’t know if I know that song. I’ll have to think about it.
Is that the Weaver Marching Matadors???
Yes, sir. =)
GREAT pic!
that’s what cheer/flag/majorette/whatever uniforms should look like. i honestly prefer these sorts to the skimpy outfits thay have today.kids today – sheesh!
This is my Color Guard uniform. I loved the one-piece spangly or velvety majorette uniforms, but even when I weighed 118 pounds, I didn’t have the body for those. We had some gorgeous majorettes at both of my high schools.
I think more modest uniforms actually make girls look prettier and sexier, but I guess those days are gone forever.
i agree with you – it does make the girls look more attractive to have some actual material as a part of their uniform.
i have a pic of my mom in her uniform (i forget what activity she participated in) that i’ve always thought was an adorable pic. but jeez, it looks like she was dressed for winter in her just above knee length skirt, boots, & long sleeve top – compared to now anyway….
OMG, please tell me you still have those boots!…
…aaand the hat.
If I did, I wouldn’t tell you, because Tim and James might find out and remind me about purging.
But it’s been
eonseighteen! years or so since then, so I’m afrad it’s all long gone.Uh….the cup says 1977…and that is uh…30 frickin’ years ago…but who is counting?
Hush, you. No math on my LiveJournal!
too bad you don’t still have the SWORD. That was the coolest part of the uniform.
