Tonight was the “Project Runway” reunion show. I have to say that I was very pleased when they decided to go with four finalists instead of three. I think each of the final four has a vision and the ability to start a line. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do for Fashion Week.
I do admit that I sighed tonight for what might have been when I saw Alison, Keith, and Malan. It sounds like Malan is doing okay, though. Maybe Alison will get a shot on another season. As for Keith… I guess we’ll never know the real story.
But Vincent is a train wreck.
And Tim Gunn is flawless.
At least now I know there was a Vincent meltdown. It just happened off camera.
Alison? I doubt they’ll Franco her into another season. Malan grew on me shortly before he was auf’d. He was great last night.
Oh, my gosh, Vincent! Wasn’t that scary? I loved the way they were up on the balcony listening to him rant.
Yep. I may have fallen a little in love with Kayne of Many Colors. Boy’s got an infectious giggle. “Vincent…he CRA-zy.”
PR
Keith lied, everyone knew he lied. The thing is, the contract does not say BOOKS but it does indicate patterns which were IN his book. In addition, one of the patterns he used was laid out exactly the way it was in the book, which is unlikely to be a coincident. In addition, a week after they started, the rumors regarding his books started to spread and the producers talked to all the designers going over all the things they should not have and gave them an opportunity to hand over anything that they may still have and that does not belong there … he didn’t. In addition he lied about his previous work experience saying he helped design some line of menswear, whereas the designer he claims to have worked with said on record that Keith Michael only photographs some stuff for his catalog. Also, the whole nonsense about leaving … he said before that he could not deal with the pressure of all the designers’ animosity after they found out that he cheated and he left and since he had no money on him he went to his ex-boyfriend’s apartment or his current bf who the heck knows, and “borrowed” enough money to buy a phone card and got online on some internet cafe to e-mail the producers … why e-mail them if they are the ones who let him go? Too stupid to bother with.
I already saw the final collections. I won’t say anything about them though except that Bravo is back to its old tricks of creating much drama. This time Laura suggests that Jeffrey outsourced some of his work, which should not be a problem if he paid for it within the Bravo money that all the designers are given. Why create more silly drama?
Michelle who is a totally over the top PR addict … did I tell you I ran into Nina Garcia in Manhattan and that, for the first time ever I actually approached a “celebrity” (you always run into them in NYC – but I don’t bother them and they don’t bother me)? She is prettier in person and very charming. I, of course, forgot how to form words let alone cohesive sentences ….
Re: PR
Bad boy Keith! That’s cool that Nina Garcia was charming when you met her. First season, I wasn’t very fond of her, but a few shows into last season, I really started enjoying her. I think she, Heidi, and Michael make a great team.
