Guinness reflects on the meaning of her beads from Houston’s recent Gay Pride Parade.
Margot seems a little weighed down, but she’s a Virgo. She worries a lot.
Rex is just proud.
On a recent trip to San Diego, Lynne bought this hand-painted silk scarf by artist Carol Gardyne for me because of its rainbow colors. Check out Carol’s site for more of her work.
margot & i could hang then – us virgos gotta stck together.
don’t worry, margot, there WILL be enough money to go to next year’s pride parade.
Margot would love to hang with you! But not at the Pride parade. She went one year, and the noise of Dykes on Bikes scared her so much that we’ve never made her go again.
Tomorrow is her least favorite holiday of the year. Tom and I will probably be in the suburbs, so Margot and Guinness will be with Tim and Rex, hopefully listening to Tim’s great music instead of hearing fireworks.
aww, poor margot!
i dunno that mine are scared of the firworks, but they do like to bark about them.
That scarf is BEAUTIFUL!!
I know. Now I have a beautiful one for summer AND winter.
Aw…. your babies are sooo cute! I love the beads. I wonder what Rut would do with beads? Guinness looks so much like Rutlie. I know you said that before, but in that pic, even from the side, she looks like him. Or he looks like her.
We are going to San Diego in August. Around the first…I think Bob said the 3rd actually. I will have to find those scaves. That one you are showing is beautiful.
I’ll try to find out more from Lynne about the gallery where her work was. It was chance that she was actually in when Lynne was in the gallery and bought the scarf directly from her.
I think Margot is concerned about her long distance coverage. Sprint make make mean beads, but seriously, does she get unlimited nights and weekends?
She’s totally a Verizon girl and has let me know that she never wants to wear Sprint again.
