Shining on Through
The spiritual quest began almost as soon as we walked in the door. The crystals and statues places just so reminded me of why we were here. Healing. A peace fell around me as I walked further into the house. The tarot reader was setting up her cards on the kitchen table. The smell of incense was heavy in the air. My partner needed this, I kept reminding myself. She needs to feel that there is a bigger future for her out there. Personally, I could use the differing perspective anyway. I tended to have tunnel vision about life. The tarot reader called us to the table, and as we sat down, she looked at me and spoke. “You need to switch places with her. You’re the one with real problems, not her.” I was taken aback by it, and my partner got up and moved as requested. What else was I to do? I moved. I sat there looking at this reader, thinking, “give it your best shot.” She did. She helped me more than anyone ever has. The insightfulness of the reading allowed me to open my heart again. I actually felt a calmness I never felt before. WHo would have ever thought, I would be feeling this way about a reader? But I did, and I still do.
The End.
Re: Shining on Through
Clearly, I need to post more photos without stories to incite y’all to either (1) be creative or (2) tell me things about your lives.
Thanks!
Re: Shining on Through
I tried to be creative. lol I saw you didn’t have a story with the pic, so I made one up. Ah, it was fun. Although a tarot card reader from my LJ did actually help me to look at something in a different way.
