Snoopy Saturday–a coup d’état!

A dog sleeps in the doghouse! A frog has an agenda!

I read this quote from Muppets creator Jim Henson recently.

At some point in my life, I decided, rightly or wrongly, that there are many situations in this life that I can’t do much about: acts of terrorism, feelings of nationalistic prejudice, cold war, etc. So what I should do is concentrate on the situations that my energy can affect.

Feel free to give a shout-out in comments to a person or group who you personally see–and maybe even help!–direct energy toward making our world better, kinder, safer.

  1. Love that book.

I always pick up something extra when I grocery store for the local food bank. It’s not much, but I figure that no matter how broke or busted I might be, there is someone that needs a hand up and could use a little help getting to where they need to be. The place I rely focus on is The Shelter where I got Monte, I sponsor a dog there till he or she is adopted, than I pick another dog to sponsor, in memory of Dash. If I go to town, I will stop buy and visit to walk one of the dogs or pet the kittens. Also if I have things I want to get rid of, I drop them off at the thrift store they have there. They kept Monte safe till I could get there. I owe them so much

  2. “I’m not shouting! Alright, I’m shouting! I’m shouting! I’m shouting! I’m-,” shouted either The Buttler or Mr. Body until being hit on the head with a badly placed candelstick on top of a doorway.
